AABF V brought together a total of 349 participants representing public and private sector as well as civil society and international organizations
- 278 participants represented 29 African countries (public sector 127 and private sector 151): Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, CAR, Chad, Cote d'Ivoire, DRC, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
- 37 participants represented 6 Asian countries: China, India, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and United Arab Emirates
- 34 participants from international organizations such as IFC, AfDB, UN, UNDP, UNIDO, UNWTO and the World Bank
- 5 financial institutions participated (The Saudi Fund for Development, the Bank of Industry Ltd., Nigeria, IFC, AfDB, the World Bank)
